How long will two half sleeve tattoos take?

I'm 16 and I'm already planning ahead to what tattoos I want. I'm getting half sleeves so they're only visible when I want and if I ever regret them only I can see them. The sleeves will start at the elbow, up to the shoulder, and onto the pectoral. (by the way will that look cool? be honest) Some of the tattoos included are a native american wolf, spades, paw print with wolf eyes in the toes on one of the pecs, and an English Lion to name a few. There would roughly be 6-12 designs combined from the two sleeves. My brother has tons of tattoos and he said it would take around 11 hours and cost about $1400. Yes I'm aware how painful this will be and yes I more than likely will regret them, but while I'm young and in great shape I want to show them off. Anyone have an idea of time, cost, and even some design suggestions, I'm open to any design suggestions.
