Would you pay the bus fare to go to their party?

I am just a little shocked that they have asked the children/parents to pay for it. It is my son's birthday this week & on Friday we are taking the kids in his class & a few other friends from where we live to town to his party, I am taking a few of the kids on the bus & I will pay for it as be too embarrassed to ask the parents so I will pay unless they offer me the money............ those with loads of money are usually the tightest with it.............ten to fourteen kids on friday aaaaaaaaaaagggghhh pass me the valium hehe :)
