Can i look bigger in a mirror?

i always think i look big and fat when i see myself in the mirror....and i am not overreacting or anything coz i am chubby...but everyone keeps telling me that i am not like skinny but i am not fat either...i have a lil chub no doubt but not that big and no way fat...and i keep telling them in the mirror i think i look real fat....and most of them say that the mirrors may make you look fat...one even suggested that since i am real short (5 ft) the mirror just adds weight....i dont know if that makes sense or not hehee...and the weird thing is that when i see a girl who is not exactly thin and sometimes my friends make comments i go like 'oh come on shes not fat she just a lil chubby slash curvy blah blah'....and they go 'well your thinner than her so why do you call yourself fat'....i honestly think that the mirror makes me look bigger maybe, coz i am not imagining the stuff i see on there hhehe....so is it possible for certain people to just look bigger in mirrors...
